A new ASTM standard has been elaborated by the Subcommittee C27.30 called Test Method for Installed Precast Concrete Tanks and Accessories by Vacuum Prior to Backfill. This new standard will be used by regulatory agencies to further improve the quality of installed septic systems.
The new standard will ensure integrity and performance of septic systems, to both owners and the environment. Waste water septic systems have demonstrated over the years their importance and the need for stringent regulations as the new in-field installation test.
