The Right to Work Act could soon be a reality in other states as it has happened in Michigan. The right to work act faces tough opposition from National unions, which consider these type of laws are a direct attack on their unions stability and finances. These laws allow workers to opt out of paying union dues and some experts are saying that could also offer employees greater freedom, and increase jobs competitiveness. There are rumors that probably other three states could be adopting Right to Work Act during 2013.

There is a book that says there is a time and place for everything. There was a time and a place for Unions. The time for Right to work is now and propbably more in the public sector than the private sector. The process created a fiscal cliff in business and thus you ahve seen GM and many other companies come to the reality that they failed to draw a line in the sand before it was too late. Is right to work a perfect answer no. Will it allow abuses of workers in some instances yes. It however will allow the market place to dictate and restore competativeness in the construction and other industries. It is the time and place for Right to work and as more jobs are created then employees will have the choice to choose companies that treat employees fairly and honestly
