The Rose Bowl Stadium renovation project which started in January 2011, under a three year $150 plus million project still far away from completion. The Rose Bowl Stadium is focused in these four areas: Public Safety, operations, increase revenue margins and maintain national landmark status, and will be hosting the Tournament of Roses for the next 30 years as well as the Rose Bowl Game. The Rose Bowl Stadium has faced several challenges from bid overruns to missing original construction drawings allowing the construction costs to bring the overall cost to around $194 million. The Rose Bowl Stadium should be completed by 2015, a year after the 2014 BCS Championship game that will celebrate the 100th of the Rose Bowl Game.
