$6 Billion Island Will Feature World's Largest Ferris Wheel

Dubai is moving one step closer to develop a new $1.6-billion island project as luxury projects are booming once again. The Bluewaters Island, will also feature the world's largest Ferris wheel, a 630 feet high Ferris wheel that will be known as the Dubai Eye. The project, planned to start construction in April, will be engineered by Starneth Engineering, firm that also took part during the London Eye construction. Meras Holding, developer of the project, is also engaged in developing a 10 billion In November, Meraas was chosen to develop a $3 billion theme park complex, including one focused on Bollywood film industry.
