Glossary

Definition: Drywall is a panel manufactured of plaster sandwiched between paper or cardboard. Drywall is fastened to wall frames with nails or screws, and the joints taped or plastered over with joint compound. It is one of the most common wall building materials used in construction.

Also Known As: wallboard, gypsum board, sheetrock, plasterboard
