Definition: In the construction industry, Laborers perform a variety of physically demanding tasks. They build highways, tunnels, and dams. They perform excavations and conduct hazardous waste removal. While in many fields the term "laborer" implies work that requires relatively low skill or training, many tasks that these workers perform require a fairly high level of training and experience.
